FC Hollywood takes you back to the 1990s, following the turbulent history of Germanys most (notoriously) successful football club. A time of enormous opportunities with the genesis of the modern Champions League, and equally enormous tomfoolery, with players leaking confidential communiactions left and right.

For this  fun ride I provided a complete motion graphics package. This included title design just as much as designs for the hundreds of GFX shots the series entails. I worked closely with our director, editors and producers to craft a world that would both evoke that wonderful and at times scrappy nostalgic 90s feeling - but at the same time still look fresh and modern.

Elements include text overlays styled like old stadium scoreboards and lower thirds looking akin to VHS recordings just as much as recreations of classic Panini stickers, comics and the first FIFA video games.
